Mini Paradise Wedding By Plush!

Updated: Sep 30, 2020

This wedding had all the elements of a big, fabulous celebration, and a lush tranquil venue that provided a compelling contrast to the boisterous festivities.Plush Events conceptualized the decor in a way that incorporated the tastes of the couple as well as matched the serene ambiance of the venue. Bride Kanika shares key highlights from the wedding here.

How We Met Aditya, an experiential marketing and events professional, met Kanika, who is an entrepreneur, four years ago through mutual friends. And as fate would have it, they clicked instantly. Over time, they moved from being acquaintances to good friends. But destiny had more in store for them. Kanika shares, “When Aditya expressed his feelings to me, I did not reciprocate at that time. However, I warmed up to the idea of us together and before I knew it, I began to feel the same love and affection towards him that he felt for me. That’s how our story started.”

Wedding Functions All the functions were planned in outdoor venues which were surrounded by the beauty of nature and greenery. The engagement ceremony was hosted at Zorba in New Delhi which exuded a breezy, summery vibe during the day and a serene ambiance under the starry night. The wedding festivities commenced with a cocktail party at Solitaire Gardens. This was followed by the mehndi function at The Grand Hotel, Vasant Kunj, and a dreamy wedding at Amaara farms in Chattarpur. The wedding decor saw hues of blush and floral elements that complemented the lush greenery of the farm. A foliage mandap with blush drapes forming pillars had flowers bordering the mandap roof and fronds dangling from the top. The chandelier placed right at the center added a touch of radiant opulence to an already stunning mandap.

A separate podium featuring a vertical floral stand was set up for the couple to pose with their guests after the ceremony. Beautiful bouquets were strategically placed on the table that surrounded a tranquil Gautam Buddha statue. Chandeliers along with a series of lights dangled from the branches.

The bride looked stunning in her pastel peach lehenga with a bouquet of red flowers designed by her label, Kanelle. Aditya chose an ivory white sherwani with silver embellishments by Anuj Madaan Couture which he paired with a light peach stole and turban that matched Kanika’s ensemble.

Advice For Couples “Just be prepared to have everything go topsy-turvy for a few months before the wedding. Brides and grooms will get tired and frustrated with all the preparations, but it is important not to let that come in the way of personal relationships. On the day of the wedding, just be

yourself and let loose, especially brides. I danced my heart out at my wedding!”
